Here are two of them that health conscious people should shun and steer clear off to be able to keep up their hale and hearty status.
* Keep away from smoking. Smoking is bad for your health. Even cigarette manufacturers know so as one can see that their labels carry the great warning that says how much smoking is hazardous to one's health. This is a fact that a lot of people particularly smokers miss and even care little enough to take into account.
For one, smoking is the one main cause of lung cancer; a disease that a lot of people have suffered and died from for a matter of years now. Yes, smoking in the long run can kill you and while you are doing it, you are letting your body suffer from its effects. The unfortunate thing about smoking is that people who do not smoke but who are in constant exposure to people who do are also in danger of getting lung infections. This is because second hand smoke can be just as deadly or even more than smoking a cigar yourself.
For all of its hazards to health and the great risk of infection and disease suffice how much smoking affects one health and how one who aims to be at the pink of health at all times should do all he can to avoid it.
* Alcohol. There have been reports on how alcohol is actually good for one's health. However this news needs to be followed immediately with the phrase “in moderation.” This is because too much and excess alcohol consumption can do one a lot of harm than good. It has been well proven that undue drinking of great amounts of alcohol at a time can cause trouble in one's health and can cause ailments that can be very serious for one's health.
For one, alcohol consumption can cause the blood pressure levels to go up. This is one reason why drunks look all red at times and come up with very fast pulse rates. Too much alcohol can cause damages in the heart muscles which dangers one into having failures in the heart processes. There are possibilities of a stroke, cancer of various body parts such as the liver, the pancreas, the mouth, the pharynx and the esophagus. And as alcohol drinkers can have impaired judgment and motor skills when they get drunk, they can get into a lot of injuries, may get into inappropriate brawls and can even get as high into thinking that they can do anything and everything that can lead to suicide. Now that is definitely not healthy.
